Giving communities tools for day to day challenges
 'Let Them Help Themselves Out of Poverty' is an umbrella organization which provides a platform to publicise and assist with fundraising for projects that are of benefit to a given community in the developing world. Initial focus will be on Uganda and it is our desire to see to spread the practice to other parts of the developing world
The initiative brings stakeholders with varying degrees of experience and expertise on board to address complex issues affecting poor people in the developing world in a holistic way. The big deal here is therefore to share expertise and skills to tackle Financial Independence through income generating activities such as eco tourism, basket weaving, jewellery making, carpentry etc but address other areas such Education, Health, Skills Shortages or even issues like access to clean water. |
Current project
Our current project is in Ruhanga a village in south West Uganda. our aims here are to help the village have access to clean water as well as complete a community hall which will provide a work space for women. For further details on this project please link to www.ugandanetwork.org
